Well, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their formation, some of their more under-appreciated early tracks are being shared with all of us.
First up is, ‘Keep Yourself Alive’ which bears quite a similarity to what you may have already heard, with the big choruses and even bigger guitars.
‘Stone Cold Crazy,’ is the other track working it’s way around the interwebs, and is a lot different. A breathless track, that clocks in at just over 2 minutes and has been called the first ever thrash metal track.
But, there is more happening then just a couple of tracks coming out. There will also be an exhibition running at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane in London which will be running for two weeks from Friday 25th February 2010. All this culminates with the limited edition 7″ vinyl release of the two track single ‘Stormtroopers in Stilettos’ on Record Store Day on the 16th April.
