Fellow Northern Hemisphereans, is the February cold, wind and rain getting a bit too much for you? Gummint getting on your nerves? Do you want some delightfully dreamy and shimmering pop music to lift this seemingly perpetual gloom from your weary souls?

Of course you do.

Well, in that case may I point you in the direction of unouomedude, that is, of course, if you haven’t already done so. This guy’s been knocking around the Internet for a while now.

His latest EP Marsh has a wonderful lo-fi quality to it that reminds me ever so slightly of a band I’ve recently rediscovered on my iPod, The High Wire. The luscious dreamy and hazy music is just so mesmeric you can’t help but feel that despite the use of electronic instruments, an acoustic set would be something to behold.

Head over to his website to download a sackful of free tunes and remixes he’s done, but don’t be afraid to go to his bandcamp too, just in case you want to buy his new EP.

these tracks make the sun shine brighter and the warm breeze warmer for sunny southern california. even monotonous good weather deserves tunes as slick ask these.
