Dumbo Gets Mad

I was umming and ahhing about whether to post this because I first heard about Dumbo Gets Mad from another blog, and someone I know in real life, no less. So I felt like I would be seen as a lazy copy cat.

Then I remembered that no one else knows that, and that shouldn’t stop me from trying to spread the word about good music.

In a nut-shell, Elephants At The Door is kind of like Ariel Pink and MGMT’s love-child that was born in 60’s France. Some may think that surely this could not work. Well, you sir, much like Ken Olson who said, ‘there is no reason anyone would want a computer in their home,’ shall be proved wrong.

If nothing else, you have to love that there is a song about a prawn. Hopefully, this ‘Eclectic Prawn’ isn’t as much of a menace as Tony the Prawn.

Like all good, modern releases, there is a plethora of formats for you to enjoy this on. You can stream it on SoundCloud, ‘pay’ for it with a tweet or facebook post or get it on sweet lady vinyl.

So, you’ve no excuse not to get your hands on it!

P.S. If you can remix (you lucky beast), then head over here to remix ‘You Make You Feel.’ Go there even if you can’t remix just to get more info.
