Let’s face it, when you’re on your own or with someone you can feel truly comfortable with, all you want to do is just sit around in your pants and maybe a t-shirt/vest. But, that combo just doesn’t cut it in winter, especially with energy prices the way they are.

Fear not, you don’t have to reach for the trousers just yet. Just get your hands on a wicked cool onesie from OnePiece, whether online or at their newly opened store in Boxpark.

Do it, and say hello to a better life.

Now, I’ve been sitting on this for a while now (that’s what she said! Whaddup!), and despite the 3 week delay I do really like this track from Blondfire, along with about 17000 other people it seems.

Blondfire are LA based brother and sister duo Bruce (a strong name) and Erica Driscoll who, if their press hot and single “Where The Kids Are” are anything to go by, combine the aesthetics of Oracular Spectacular MGMT with the sounds of The Naked And Famous, who have made one of my favourite albums of the year. So, it looks like they’re on to a winner!

“Where The Kids Are” is the first single from their forthcoming album Win The Game. Keep an eye out!

(SoundCloud doesn’t seem like it wants to embed so you’ll have to settle for a YouTube video, but if you’re not too lazy to click links and go to ANOTHER page, I know it’s difficult, you can listen HERE.)

Bruno Rygseck

Hey, hey, hey!

Remember when I used to post barely, semi-regular updates on here about music? Yeah, me neither. But, I’m back for at least this post! (But, I will up my game. Pinky-promise.)

So, I’d set myself up for a little afternoon sesh on the Internet, in between long morning and evening sessions, and I whacked on, decided to be well hip and listen to the “tastemakers” section, and the second track I here was this gem from Bruno Rygseck, who according to his bandcamp page, enjoys absinthe and erotica.

(Bruno bb, give me a call)

Apparently hailing from Helsinki, he has made this delicious glitchy, chillwave track that would sit happily on Neon Indian’s debut album.

Kids In Italia / Giulia From Above + Elisa Bee – DJs

Italian Streetwear brand 55DSL have rececntly started a new series called “Kids In Italia;” which looks at some of the most exciting young and creative individuals coming out of Italy right now.

This second video looks at DJs Giulia From Above and Elisa Bee.

The main thing for me about this video, is that it just confirms my love for Europe, especially its architecture. The narrow, cobbled streets scurrying in between those tall, stone houses.

VICE Issue Launch

It’s that time of the month again. VICE is launching it’s new issue and wants you to come and party to celebrate this most wondrous, yet regular occurrence.

A bit like the Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con. And if, somehow, you don’t know what that means, please leave this site immediately and never return.

This time, the party is all over the country: Leeds, Manchester, London, Brighton, Nottingham and Bristol. But, being London based I’m only interested in what’s happening here because London is the only place in England that matters, right?

So, clear out whatever you had planned in Thursday October 27, and head down to The Old Blue Last with for good times with Purity Ring, Theme Park and VICE DJs.

RSVP for the #VICElaunch HERE.

Futurecop! are back! And boy oh boy are they as good as ever. Back with their signature electro-pop/80’s teen move sound with their new EP “The Adventures Of Starpony,” you can’t help but feel like you have to be 17, with bad hair and bad skin to listen to this.

2 out of 3 ain’t bad.

But a little bit more seriously, Futurecop! just make ridiculously fun music and if you can’t enjoy it then you will probably never enjoy anything. And I’m pretty miserable.
